Double Eagle Restaurant and Bar

Blending diverse flavors and fresh ingredients with a romantic, breathtaking setting, Double Eagle and Restaurant and Bar, poolside at the Los Cabos Golf Resort, just outside of Cabo at Km 3.7, provides an unparalleled alfresco dining experience. The expansive restaurant, which extends around two of the resort’s inviting pools and a hot tub, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is an excellent, less crowded alternative to many of downtown Cabo San Lucas’s outdoor eating options.

The food—including house specialties like succulent baked huachinago (red snapper), imperial jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon, and tequila prawns—is worthy of a special occasion, but the laid-back ambience and surprisingly affordable prices make this find a doable, family-friendly dining destination for any event. Guests, residents, and in-the-know tourists flock to the Double Eagle Restaurant for its consistently delicious and decidedly eclectic menu of Mexican standards, mariscos, and unexpected splashes of international fare like shrimp lasagna and clam chowder.

Diners can top off the perfect meal with one of Double Eagle’s signature daily desserts—fried bananas, cinnamon-dusted rice pudding, and a perfect flan cannot be passed up—and an espresso before heading downstairs to the Churchill’s Cigar Bar for a stogie and the game room, where the large flat-screen television and comfy seating are ideal for watching any game, from beísbol to football. Those in a more romantic state of mind can stay above ground, take in the starry sky, and dance the night away.
