Geographically, Cabo San Lucas may be a remote resort region, but gastronomically it is truly cosmopolitan. The choices range from taco stands and open air palapas to romantic candlelit restaurants, all complimented by friendly service.
Although fish and seafood get the top billing, menu choices range from sandwiches, tasty tacos, BBQ ribs, and char-broiled steaks to gourmet Mexican, International and Continental cuisine.
A number of restaurants feature astonishing views; some have satellite TVs for sports specials; others have live or taped music. Most places are casual to casually elegant, but there are a few with a dress code.

During the high season, it is wise to call ahead for reservations, especially for the more upscale dining spots. Diners usually begin with a pre-dinner tequila - straight or in a cocktail - and end up their meal leisurely sipping a cup of coffee accompanied by a Damiana, a delicate locally-produced liqueur.
And we all know that a good wine makes a good meal even more enjoyable, which is why most restaurants carry a selection of the best wines that Australia, Napa Valley, Chile and Europe have to offer.
